“Bondye pi Gwo” God is Bigger

This past year, as Haiti has struggled to come together after the assassination of the President last July, militia gangs have become more and more aggressive and violent. The US Embassy now ranks Port-Au-Prince as having the NUMBER 1 kidnapping rate.  On June 16th, a member of the Foursquare Haiti Church in Port-Au-Prince where we attend was kidnapped and held for ransom.  A week later, the church was rejoicing for his safe release after a ransom was paid.

ALWAYS ON MISSION...
One truth that has been embedded in our hearts during this season of transition, is that we ARE ALWAYS ON MISSION. As our community in Haiti continues to become a “hot spot” with security issues, we have decided to start scouting out other areas and countries to serve in. We do not know what that will look like yet, but we would ask that you join us in prayer for the Holy Spirit’s direction. Our hearts are still very much with the people of Haiti, but we are trusting God’s direction every step of the way.

Prayer Points:

  • Pray for the Haitians that have been displaced from their homes due to the militia/gang wars.
  • Continue to intercede and speak God’s promises and victory over the evils of kidnappings, corruption, witchcraft, and gang violence. Pray for the Christians of Haiti for protection, boldness, and wisdom to bring the overcoming light of Jesus into the darkness.
  • Pray for direction for our family and where to plant ourselves for this next season.
