Historic Moment for the Caribbean!
In September 2025, something powerful happened in Santo Domingo, DR. Sixty-eight Foursquare leaders, workers, and emissaries from across the Caribbean gathered for a historic time of training, vision, and strategy focused on expansion and church planting. Foursquare has a growing presence in 8 of the 26 nations and territories in the Caribbean Region. We personally loved the ability to co- host this Mega Gathering with our Dominican National Team right here in the DR.
Made a Move to San Cristobal
In October, we made a significant move by relocating to San
Cristóbal, a smaller city just 30 minutes west of Santo Domingo. HURRICANE MELISSA
This decision came after over two years of careful thought and seeking God's guidance. While Santo Domingo is a busy city with around 4 million people, we are excited to take on the opportunities and benefits that come with living in a more manageable community of 300,000. This move allows us to enjoy a more balanced lifestyle and connect more deeply with our surroundings.
Hurricane Melissa Repsonse in Jamaica
A month ago, Hurricane Melissa struck the western part of Jamaica, causing significant destruction and hardship. In response, Foursquare Disaster Relief is mobilizing a medical team, and Matt will join them as the Team Minister to provide essential support. After the one-week clinic has been completed, Matt will stay for an additional week. During this time, he will work closely with our Foursquare Jamaican leaders to develop and coordinate plans for construction teams aimed at rebuilding the vital structures impacted by the storm.
