One Way that we Serve
We are committed to supporting our local pastors and leaders in any way possible, as their work is vital to their communities and nation. Recently, Matt had the opportunity to meet with the Assistant National Leader, visiting our Haitian churches to engage in discussions about their specific needs of the church.
Additionally, hosting guests for the Foursquare Dominican Republic is an essential part of our support efforts. We recently welcomed visitors from Grace Covenant, North Carolina, and our time with them, as they met with our pastors, was not only enjoyable but also impactful.
Furthermore, during the National Convention last month, we were honored to host the Aldana family as they served as the guest speakers. Their presence significantly enriched our conference and helped strengthen the mission.
Día de Las Chicas
Our first "Girls' Day" at our new home was a great success! What started as an invitation to a few girls from the youth group turned into a lively gathering of nearly 30 people. We transformed the garage into a jewelry-making station, while Anna organized groups to bake butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and brownies. Meanwhile, Matt grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and spent time with the dads. It was a joyful day filled with connections and unforgettable memories!
ESL Classes in the Garage
As we’ve settled into our new home, particularly in our neighborhood, we have been looking for ways to connect with our neighbors. In January, we started a small English class in our home, but it quickly outgrew our living room and had to be moved to the garage.
